Jessie Lesmeister, owner of Integrity Locksmith has been solving complex problems in his company for over 20 years. He’s dealt with many complex problems in his business, but never one like this.
He received a text asking him if he made any purchases at the Best Buy in Miami. When he replied “no”, he immediately received a phone call from Wells Fargo with whom he has been doing small business banking since decades.
According to the person on the telephone, they caught the wire transfer just in time.
Lesmeister explained, “He sent me advanced access codes which I repeated to him.”
Jessie felt scammed as soon as he got off the telephone. The Wells Fargo in Golden Valley was closed.
A sophisticated wire transfer fraud resulted in the loss of nearly $22,000 instantly. He filed complaints with the police, FBI and FTC as well as with Wells Fargo. However, he never heard from any of them. The victim has made numerous phone calls, sent emails and letters to the bank but still received no concrete answer as to why his claim for fraud was rejected.
It can all happen within a few seconds after working so hard for the right.

Wells Fargo has stated that it never contacts or texts clients in order to obtain the code for completing a wire transfer. Our representatives have spoken directly to the client about their case. However, information regarding them cannot be disclosed due to concerns over privacy.
