Meishalyn was stunned to learn that a roof replacement would cost her $10K.
She came up with a “funny plan” to raise money. To do this, she took risque pictures on her roof and posted them online. This raised $10,000 for the repair of the leaky roof.
Terah, 24, found out last month that she had a leaking roof when she purchased her Little Rock home less than one year earlier. The insurance company for her home said that it wouldn’t cover the costs of roof replacement replacing the entire roof which cost about $10,000.
“I was like, Oh my God, how am I going to raise 10,000 dollars for an urgent problem?” Meishalyn told Kennedy News. “I could laugh or cry so I chose to use humor as a way to cope with my feelings.
She posted photos of her “silly photo shoot” on her roof to Facebook, where she received advice from other members.
Meishalyn said people started commenting “Just start an OnlyFans and make money this way.”
Meishalyn, a Kennedy News reporter, said: “I work, but I consider myself beautiful and I thought I could earn a nice amount of money on OnlyFans. It would be an easy way to make some quick cash.”
She had originally planned to post some photos of herself on the roof in a leotard, but soon realized that she was not cut out for this.
It would have been so unusual if I had started taking suggestive photos on my roof. “Most people upload raunchy pictures of themselves on their bed or chair.”
“I don’t look down at anyone who posts risque pictures to OnlyFans for money. But after seeing the content I thought I wouldn’t be good or capable.”
Fox News Digital reports that Meishalyn has set up a GoFundMe account to help raise funds to replace her roof. A local Little Rock roofing company has agreed to cover the roof in storms.
